• Probation Thesaurus
  A controlled vocabulary of preferred terms used when cataloguing and classifying library materials, corporate documents and other publications.
• Probation Gateway
  Formerly the NPRIE Guide to Useful Websites, this is an Internet based gateway to websites on a wide range of subjects of interest to the criminal justice professional.
• National Research Collection
  A catalogue of probation research and evaluation materials.
• Union List of Journals Holdings
  A list of the journals holdings of probation areas, identifying those Area libraries with long runs of back issues of particular journals.
• Information Exchange
  The organisation, collation and display of best practice materials produced by all probation areas at Research and Information Conferences.
• Acronyms and Abbreviations
  A list of acronyms and abbreviations used in probation.

What We Do

• Share expertise on library and information issues.
• Keep staff informed about new developments and effective practice in a wide range of criminal justice related subjects.
• Support the training of probation officers through the provision of a library and information service.
