Welcome to NPRIE

Join the Performance Information Group (PIG)

NPRIE is a network of research, information and communications staff within NOMS.

The Performance Information Group is a relatively new group which "meets" in the NPRIE Online Community.

The PIG offers an Area perspective into centralised NOMS Information/Performance FAQS via PMU. It is anticipated that both the IPPF FAQs and the SLAs will have such FAQs. This will minimise the efforts of PMU in trying to answer the same questions over and over from various areas. It would also help ensure a consistent response to all areas.

The PIG may also develop a roll in training. Already some areas have bilateral agreements to train one another's staff and the provision of a central bank of skills would help facilitate this further. The PIG could also Audit training need, thereby signalling potential national level requirements. A role in quality assuring any such national training materials could be held by the PIG.

The final role of the PIG would be as an independent advisor to the Data Standards and Reporting Group DSRG or any successor.

If you want to join the PIG, please join complete our Membership Details form and check the Performance Monitoring box in the Work/Expertise area. If you are already a member of NPRIE you can sign up to the PIG in the NPRIE Online Community.
